Stop Asian Hate

COVID-19 saw a drastic uptick in attacks on Asian Americans, specifically Asian women. In 2020 alone, there were approximately 3,500 reports of racially-motivated attacks on Asian Americans and their businesses. Being half Chinese and the proud grandson of immigrants who made a new life in America, after escaping the tyranny of the Chinese Communist Party, I wanted to create something to help spread ways for others to support the Asian American community.

For this, I felt combining the metaphors of a stop sign and the Ba Qua: a mirror used in Feng Shui to ward off evil spirits and/or negative energy, was particularly relevant.
